The long standing battle between Ozzy Osbourne and Tony Iommi have finally settled their legal battle over the rights to owning the Black Sabbath name.

Well publicized fighting led to the legendary frontman Ozzy being given his marching orders from the band in 1978.

32 years later and finally some clarification over who came up with the band name “Ozzy Osbourne and Tony Iommi of the legendary heavy metal band Black Sabbath have amicably resolved their problems over the ownership of the Black Sabbath name and court proceedings in New York have been discontinued.”

The good news is Osbourne and Iommi remain friendly with each other, the statement continued. “Both parties are glad to put this behind them and to cooperate together for the future and would like it to be known that the issue was never personal, it was always business.”

With this settled lets hope for a Black Sabbeth Reunion....
